This pub dedicates its taps to local, fresh and creative beers. With Nitro taps, Ciders, and a five cask system taken off the streets of London in 1972.
Food ranging from simple ruben sandwiches to steak dinners to the best fish and chips you can get. Monday's are live local bands playing right on the sidewalk. Hare & Hounds sits across the street from the Bluewater Artworks Gallery where this painting is on display.
The painting is of the bar inside the Hare & Hounds, very old style and inspiration was the feeling of being in a London Pub..... such a beautiful thing..... here goes the brush again.....
I took the pictures of the painting in process in stages. This was truly a fun painting and what a joy to paint. Painting is in oil and took a little over two months to paint. Though while waiting for it to dry I did paint two more paintings in acrylic.... oil is so different and fun to work with....
The finished painting.... Oil on canvas 20x40.
Canvas is gallery wrapped with quality.
Painting will be framed in a floating frame , mat black with very small hints
of red coming through the black. Sides will be about 3 1/2 inch thick....
